Yes, you are right. Europe is the best destination for me as well, as I had been there for a training already. Just that my study program matched well in Canada.

.. sure.. I will shoot to you too..Yes, my medical passed already on December 21st, and eligibility started the same day as well. Your reasons make sense really, on the perspective allowing international students and improving Canada economy. I agree with you on this, and good to see you are gaining knowledge in the immigrations matters.
Thanks.. 3 months complete lock down and open the borders and business are the plan from advisory committee for now. Phase wise doesn't help them and costing too much .. this plan giving them sense of positive and going as per plan. If you see the cases, 9k to 3k in 3 weeks time. By April, open business completely. Now their unemployment rate is almost 10%.. they can't afford anymore. Already they used our money for various stimulus packages and seeing the current application reduction from international students worrying them a bit for future. Hence strated giving positive sense to international students. Stay positive. Sleep peacefully.

Thanks pal .. I applied for winter and deferred to may. Will update in GCkey once get the loi as it is less than 150 days, not required to update ircc upfront ..

You said GIC upon request. Can you share that despite going for non-SDS they asked you to open a GIC of $10,000 CAD.

So you are saying that you did not have to inform IRCC about deferred letter of acceptance and at the same time they did not ask you anything because the start date of May term is less than 150 days?
Keyano in Alberta ... For 2 years diploma. Yeh fortunately my bank where I took loan forced me to open a GIC to remit the fund... And yes, it is better to have a GIC than other financial proof.. it saves time... Don't add too much details for financial proof..neat and confident sop will help ...
