I'm December 4th applicant as well. I just got the temporary file number yesterday.

By them creating a temporary file number, does that mean that they scanned my documents? Or my file at an officer's desk?
For people who got AORs , after how long from the date you received temp number you got the actual AOR?

Yes they have scanned them but not yet reviewed by an officer. Time frame to AOR from there varies widely, 2 months to 8 months by looking at the threads on here. At least you know they have it, hang tight, you have a long way to go yet.
