So I got my family and my study permit second rejection; Same ground refusals Both times

, -travel history ‘ we all traveled to the USA as a family and individually, our USA visa is till valid, to Dubai two times, traveled to Europe many times as well! So I don’t understand it!!

Second is purpose of travel, I am 30 years old, I have a bachelor in business administration and I want to study my MBA! The university is a designated university and already paid my deposit and gave the receipt with the letter of acceptance!!!

So despite addressing those refusals with additional documents. now I want to ask for GCMS notes to understand more , and VFS gave me an email address so I sent them but never got a reply! What shall I do at this point?

As I am intending to apply for study permit I wonder what the travel history has to do with approving the study permit? I have never travelled from the country I am residing except to the neigbouring countries by bus! Does it mean that I am not qualified to travel to Canada? Can some one explain to me this matter.thanks

I think it depends on the VO who will be reviewing your application,i never traveled anywhere except my neighbouring countries as well but they never brought it up,even in my rejection letters that one they never said anything about it so i guess you pray they don’t say anything about it which i wonder if you never traveled to a visa requiring country, does that mean you can’t get a study permit and how do you explain it to the VO?

Rich travel history boosts ties. Passport stamps of visit to various countries proves that you have not overstayed anywhere.

They are not allowed to use a lack of travel history as a criteria to reject but the occasional VO doesn't care about their own rules...

That means with no travel history and no family member in Canada provided other considerations are fine, my chance of study permit being accepted is high. Am I right guys?

It really depends on how strong your SOP is,try to convince the VO,i feel you should go onto this forum and read from people who got rejected, see their reasons for rejection, ask questions before you can write your SOP because they can still find a reason to reject you on,all i’m saying is make sure you cover everything they might use to reject you in your SOP and give them all the documents they require,if you have an educational gap, explain it,backlog etc.
