PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

My application was delivered to Etobicoke office on November 9,2020 and no AOR yet.

I think it depends on the office

If this is first application, the timeline is a bit longer than renewal,

This gives me some hope. 2 out of 3 applications I sent were stuck at In Process since Jan 7th. Application received on Nov 5th. I have seen several people getting their cards much sooner.

Try submitting a web form. My status updated to Decision made a day after they responded to my query.

Received the PR Card to my home address rather than the mailing address i mentioned.
They were not not updating mailing address in my citizenship application and now using home address to mail things. Not good.
Seems whoever using mailing address (some of us) will be in trouble to get the cards/communication.

As the IRCC send email with COPR document and they asked to send a photo with a copy of copr document, so how we track the pr card processing?

I submitted my application on Jan 7th. Received Jan 11th 2021. No update yet.

@roodrap i submitted on 5th Jan (so pretty much same time as you. No updates for me either.
Looking at other ppls updates I think we should receive some communication (acknowledgment) 1st week of March.

My documents are also delivered on Jan 8, however Jan. 9 and 10 were weekends, so I assume Jan. 11 as the start date to count down.

So I called the IRCC helpline today as my case has been delayed a lot. I applied in June and for decision made in OCT but there was no update. I called them today and was told that my card has been posted out on 31 Dec to local IRCC office and they will send an appnt email to collect the card from office as they need to verify identify. So any idea when will the contact as it has been a few weeks already keeping in mind that my card was sent to them on 31dec and say they got it in 2 weeks. Thanks.
