Has anyone experienced the new quarantine rule by the Canada government, i.e. staying in hotel for three days? If yes, could you share your experience for clarity?

The rules aren't implemented yet. So no.

Yes, you can. That's allowed, just tell them you need a unit for two people when you call for booking
