Hi there, Please I want to understand the term; two academic years in Canada because I want to apply for a post-graduate study and the program is for two academic years but with the period of 8 months, I don't really understand that because I thought 2 academic years were supposed to be 16 months.
 
You are confusing it with semesters. An 8 month program is most likely two semesters or one academic year.
 
No I am not. The school is actually the one confusing me because it says 2 academic years(periods of 8 months). So the period of 8 months is confusing. Hope you don't mind educating me on this?

What school and program. 8 month program is eligible for 8 month or 1 year PGWP.
 
Well you are wrong. Sociology is one of the masters program in SASKATCHEWAN university. By the way, thank you for your responses, I really appreciate your time.

You said PG which usually means a diploma and certificate in Canada, not a Masters. Two very different streams. All the best.
