Visitor extension Visa Stamping with in Canada

My wife got VR extension approved. But she doesn't have Valid visa as she has travel plans to India. Can she apply for Paper based or online application for stamping from within Canada. Is IRCC still processing visa stamping for visitors with in canada OR does she need to exit Canada and get it stamped in india. If IRCC is allowing visa stamping with in canada then which one is faster Paper or online application. Kindly advice on it.

Her extension becomes invalid when she leaves Canada. What is your status in Canada?

Once she leaves it stops being valid. It doesn’t sound like you are a PR or citizen based on your past posts. If this is the case she may not be ab.e to reenter given the current travel restrictions or may need special authorization.
