Most definitely flight must be rescheduled till after the 3day quarantine...but we await further clarify from OttawaSource ?
I didn't say it's already implemented, the question was more about the transfer than about the timeline. This information is not accurate. I didn't find where they say that it has been implemented already - but in the next coming up weeks.
"The new restrictions will include scheduled commercial passenger flights arriving from the United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America, which were exempted from the previous restriction."
Ones who booked indirect flights are at more risk now. Restrictions may extended at any time not only because of the Canadian government but due to emergence of new COVID-19 hot spots.
Flights transiting airports, changing planes with stops instead of non-stop i.e Stops at : Germany ,United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. What do you mean by indirect flights? Can you please explain

It clearly says connecting flight travellers are exempt in the above source.I saw it on news.
Germany also?Flights transiting airports, changing planes with stops instead of non-stop i.e Stops at : Germany ,United States, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
First landing should be in one of the four destined Airports : Toronto, Calgary, Montreal & Vancouver.Germany also?
And what about if we have an international flight to Canada, end destination BC w/ connection in TO? - There is no flight directly to Van, sadly.
BC haven't start with the new measures yet, while Ontario has. So how is it going to be? Will one have to stay the 3 days there?
I'm waiting to receive an official confirmation about it... but I guess it's still confusing for everybody.
Right. But what about the test and 3 days hotel when you have a connection in Canada?First landing should be in one of the four destined Airports : Toronto, Calgary, Montreal & Vancouver.
Germany not banned by Canada. What I meant was taking such stops is risky due to COVID-19 times. More risk of getting stranded if a COVID-19 hot spot/rule change emerges at Frankfurt.
These full details for the 3 day quarantine haven't been published yet. So we don't know.Right. But what about the test and 3 days hotel when you have a connection in Canada?
Calm down...lol...the details aren’t out yethi .. am flying on 13 feb to Toronto Pearson airport..
does anyone have idea about the govt approved hotels for 3 day quarantine .. how much cost is expected?
For Hotels.. normally the check-in timing are 4pm and check out is at 11am.. so how should one complete 72 hrs .. is it 3 days or 3 nights stay at the hotel?
