Yep from the UK, FSW Outland. Application is with CPC Ottawa. Not in a huge rush but would be good if it was all sorted this year. Submitted everything Dec 2019. Application is approved (as per webform) but nothing official since. Medicals expired 20 Jan 21 an no update on that either.

How about you?

I'm you but a year later! I submitted everything Dec 2020, so my application is very much in its infancy, comparatively. Congrats on the approval, but equally that's frustrating it's not been officiated to you yet. Did you have to go for an interview or anything in the UK or has it been relatively smooth sailing? Fingers crossed you get a green light/COPR soon!

CEC Outland here living in England (not London).

• AOR - 12th June 2020
• Medical passed - 29th July 2020
• Biometrics completed - 18th August 2020

Completed medical in Manchester and biometrics in London (which if I remember correctly is the only place that did it in the UK).

Anxiously waiting for an update so I can rejoin my partner living out in AB.

No interview needed, not heard of anyone that requires one. Are you FSW too? Have you completed your biometrics and medicals yet?

Thanks and good luck to you too. I'm not expecting anything to happen in the first half of this year, they're prioritising other immigration pathways but fingers crossed for the second half of the year. Don't think we need to send our passport to get a visa stamp once approved as we're visa-exempt (assuming you have a UK passport) so that should hopefully speed things up.

FSW I'm English and was in London when I applied but I'm now in Canada so I don't know if I'm Inland or Outland.

AOR - 6th Oct 2020
Medical, Biometrics, Eligibility all passed, Security and Background check not started. I don't know my VISA office.

IMMI tracker makes it look like us UK people with have big delays -_-

Ordered GCMS notes on 16th Dec but still waiting for them. Really wanting to be able to move back to Canada so I'm anxiously awaiting my PPR and travel restrictions to be lifted.

I really hope so. It's interesting to see another outland CEC applicant since almost all are inland. And our AOR dates are fairly close. Do you know if you have passed eligibility/criminality/security yet?

Medicals passed - 2nd Feb 2021

As you can see I’m just at the first steps of the process. But I’ll follow your progress with interest.

Hi all

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. We've been approved in a fairly short amount of time. You can see my entire timeline in my signature. The main thing now, of course, is that we cannot travel and started to panic a bit that our documents will expire before we are able to move. Hoping for the best anyway.

Your the first one I've seen also around the same AOR date. I don't know, no. I've been meaning to call them up for a while now. When did you find out your eligibility and criminality were passed?

From my GCMS notes that I received on the 15th Oct. Both were passed at the end of August.

I received my passport request and COPR from the London office during a previous lockdown, so they are still working. Even if your file was processed in Canada, Ontario is also in lockdown, so that wouldn't make that much of a difference.
