Several factors determines how fast your application will be processed, including
- NOC and how critical it is in the meanwhile: for example supply chain can be more important than IT inventory in this pandemic situation.
- how much travel did an applicant did in the past years
- how much the assigned case officer is overwhelmed with applications reviews.
- Country of residence and gender equity.
And of course AOR MEPs BIL And Much more

Wish you a good luck
How do you think past travel can impact on processing times?
On one hand, it might sinalize that the applicant was never denied a visa for any of those countries. Therefore, speeding up the process.

On the other hand, it might be necessary to verify if the applicant left the visited countries without problems. Therefore, slowing down the process.

In a matter of fact a refused visa precisely for not demonstrating strong ties to homeland should have a very limited impact on one's application, i see it support you are serious about your Immigration.

Only too many travels require a trend analysis for security reasons especially in hardship countries or during political crises especially if an applicant doesn't have a clear justification for a travel for example work or study.

While an applicant who hasn't travel during the past (up to 10 years) will be cleared more quickly. This type of applicants most likely has no international security concerns however still need to clear criminality (PCCs)

In general if an applicant did not engage in any criminal activity or planning should be totally fine only needs to allow some time those guys are professionals and are reviewing about 10k ITAs monthly basis, surely trust their skills.

Hi all, I'm a newbie here

CEC inland
Aor - October 3
MEP - Nov 16
BIO Enrolled - Nov 25
VO - Ottawa

I called IRCC yesterday, and as the agent said, only Criminirity is in process, Eligibility and Security are not started. - I am wondering if this is normal?

He also mentioned that my application was all in order, and said: "the office has only requested the biometrics from you". He didn't mention that if he could see my BIO was already enrolled or not... and somehow I didn't mention to him that on Nov 25, I had given my BIO already (it was shown in my profile right away on the day of) - I totally forgot to tell him this on the phone!!! So the agent didn't acknowledge my BIO in his system. My question is - Does this mean that IRCC has not opened up my BIO and look at them? In other words, they have not touched my case since the day that I submitted my BIO?

Thanks for any help!!

My previous experience with IRCC (January 10, 2021)

AOR: 28th Oct
MED: Passed (4th Dec)
R10: Passed
CRIMINALITY: On Process (As they haven’t got my bio metrics)
ELIGIBILITY: Passed (On 14th January 20, 2021)
SECURITY: Not started
BIOMETRICS: Did not provided
VO: SGVO

My Today's experience with IRCC (February 3, 2021)

BIOMETRICS: February 1, 2021
VO: SGVO

The agent said my file has been transferred to Singapore visa office(My local visa office). Thus she couldn't inform me regarding the status of my application.

My question to @legalfalcon and/or like others, what may be the reason of my file transfer to my local visa office?
Is there anything to worry about?

Please help me out.
Files get transferred between visa offices for a wide variety of reasons including work load distribution, local knowledge or office specific requirements. When your application is approved you will be asked to submit the passport at the LVO. Nothing to worry about.

Just my guess here... but I think they are holding off on issuing PPRs and COPRs to outland applicants even if they have been fully approved.

Many COPRs have expired recently, they might be trying to minimize the number of renewals by delaying the issuance of COPRs. That's why many have PPR but no COPR yet.
That doesn’t make sense.... whether they issue COPR or not... when your medicals expires.. it expires...

Hi all,
@legalfalcon

I am new here and have an inland PNP application.
AOR: Oct 12
Medicals Passed: Nov 17

I called IRCC and they said:
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security: Not Started

Am I any close to PPR? Or is it far away?

They mentioned that my VO is Sydney, but going through the threads, I see that there is both CPC and CIO in Sydney. So, I don't which one is my application in.

I ordered GCMS notes in the beginning of January, but so far no updates on that.

I appreciate your thoughts.
Congrats! you are very close to PR . I am PNP Inland too , Oct15 and MEP nov18 ( Eligibility passed , Cr in process and sec not started ; called early Jan ) /
I can see ppl security not started but eventually in 1 day security got passed and COPR showed up . Hopefully you will get that soon!

May I ask you, did you provide RCMP upfront ?

Not likely, i have seen some members posted that they have received back their passports believe it or not with expired visas!

"""" correction and/or expired CoPr. """""
Check out below

I believe i have seen a 2021 case not sure i will try to find the thread
Nevertheless shouldn't be an issue, travel is under restriction anyway and a new policy shall take a place for after 18 March PRV holders

I answered yes to stat question. Hopefully, we'll hear something positive this month. I had a hunch that Feb was the month to lookout for...
Hopefully your hunch becomes reality !! May I ask why do you think Feb is the month when we can expect +Ve results. I am also checking Myimmigration Tracker and they are off to good start in Feb compare with Jan. In two day's 7 PPR's are updated on the tracker.

Usually the files are transferred to LVO is when the application has to be finalised, or there is a requirement of local resources to verify the details.

Given that your eligibility is passed, then the only logical conclusion would be to finalise the application and issue PPR.

@legalfalcon

could you please explain my situation bit more please
And why my Paper based file is in process from more then 6 months if we putt withdrawal request,

I mentioned visa refusals in all pervious files as well as this EE,
But only that middle Paper based one got messed up, is it totally fine with CIC if we give them this information later by our self, like just in 2 weeks of AOR.
Could you please elaborate. I didn't get you question.

@legalfalcon
Ok I will explain everything,

I applied work permit 3 years before, I gave all correct information.

Then I applied Paper based PR, but agents forgot to mention my old Canadian study visa refusal and Us visitor visa refusal,
But after getting AOR, we mentioned it in 2 weeks. This happened in July 2019. {via webform and they replied that they received my information}

but my eligibility and criminality got pass in December 2019 for that application.

I was waiting too much then I withdrawn my paper based application in July 2020 and applied Express entry CEC with everything correct information.

Question
1. Will this still be a problem if we mentioned visa refusals after getting AOR?
We mentioned by our self, CIC didn’t ask anything. I am too worried because they take this stuff too seriously.

2. I submitted withdrawal Paper based PR file in July 2020, but till now it is in processing, what is the possible reason that file is not withdrawn from CIC. Even after withdrawal requests they send me Medical request just 2 months back.
I am too worried why they are not withdrawing my Paper based application, is there any issue?

3. this old paper based application and errors in that application and then withdrawn, will this stuff impact on my Current Express Entry Application?

4. should I order GCMS notes for old Paper based application?
