Thanks for the detailed response. I will keep that in mind when submitting my application..
it worked now. it is weird though , once application is validated print should not fail . here is the issue I had , I had saved validated application and opened it to update dates , as soon I made the change it became invalid then after updating it validated it back which was successful then tried to print which failed.
so to made it work I re-validated it back and then saved it and closed . and then reopened saved validated form with all information filled correctly and without changing anything printed it which worked.
so catch is that if you have to update the form and then validate it , it fails on print . so better save it after validating it and then reopen and print
thanks for your help
I faces similar problem and after further testing with different dates, it turned out that if you have multiple passports their validity period overlaps, you'll face this issue. In other words, if you have two passports with validity from A to B and other with validity B to C then you won't get this error..

Having said that the solution which you just described earlier works too, i.e., validate the form, save and close it and then re-open it to print.I faces similar problem and after further testing with different dates, it turned out that if you have multiple passports their validity period overlaps, you'll face this issue. In that case, would typing anything in the explanation box allows the form to be validated. I'm assuming the form is expecting your passports to overlap by more than one day.Having said that the solution which you just described earlier works too, i.e., validate the form, save and close it and then re-open it to print.
I had same issue, old passport and current passport had some overlapping time, and current passport is out of 5 year eligibility period so i also needed old passport information. To fix this issue, explain overlapping period in explanation and then hit validate. It worked for me and hope it works for you too.I faces similar problem and after further testing with different dates, it turned out that if you have multiple passports their validity period overlaps, you'll face this issue. Form is not expecting your passports to overlap. You need to provide explanation if either passports validity overlaps or there is gap. If Expiry of passport matches the issue date of other and so on. Then you don't need explanation. In that case, would typing anything in the explanation box allows the form to be validated. My passports overlap and I didn't have this issue. Weird.Form is not expecting your passports to overlap. You need to provide explanation if either passports validity overlaps or there is gap. If Expiry of passport matches the issue date of other and so on. Then you don't need explanation.
Looks like there is a bug in form validation.
