Shouldn't had booked directly for Winnipeg. Only allowed to land on Montreal, Toronto, Calgary & Vancouver airports.

The government told me. Try clicking on the links I posted above to view the real info.
I found
As soon as possible in the coming weeks, all air travellers arriving in Canada, with very limited exceptions, must reserve a room in a Government of Canada-approved hotel for three nights at their own cost, and take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival at their own cost. More details will be available in the coming days.“

Do you have any other confirmation regarding the date or about the test at toronto?
Please provide me the link
I’ll be really thankful

I presume you have never travelled before, usually you have to take the mandatory PCR-RT test at the airport (post landing) and wait for the results at the hotel (3 days ) once you arrive regardless of which POE it is.

“Those with negative test results will then be able to quarantine at home under significantly increased surveillance and enforcement,” he explained, adding those with positive tests will be “immediately required to quarantine in designated-government facilities to make sure they’re not carrying variants of potential concern.” - Trudeau

Who told you that the test will be conducted in toronto?
Kindly let me know
If you have a real info
I think you are right on this one but the rules aren't clear now. Usually test is required only on the final destination since you are not leaving the airport's vicinity.

Basically you passed the two stages can await the final decision soon. Longer the medical update gap, higher the chances of approval.

It can take up to 30 to 45 days after the meds update.
