Travel during PR process

I need your help.

My EE PNP (Inland) application completion date is April 27, 2021.

I have approved bridging open work permit valid until dec, 2021. I am thinking to apply for new counterfoil.

1) I am planning to go to my home country for approx 3.5 months to get married (including 28 days of quarantine to and fro). Will that affect my PR processing?

2) In case, I need to leave my job to go to my home country, how will it affect on PR processing at this stage?

3) Is it necessary to inform IRCC and PNP both while leaving country for marriage?

4) if I get PR approval while being in my home country, can i travel back to Canada using valid counterfoil (based on bridging open work permit) or Will I have to apply for Permanent Residency travel Document?

5) Should I inform IRCC after getting married if I don't get PR approval by that time? or Is it better to let process complete and then sponsor spouse?

6) What is your suggestion to apply for new counterfoil based on bridging open work permit at this stage? When should i apply for it? I may get PR approval anytime beofre leaving Canada for marriage.

1. No, travelling will not have any impact on your PR processing.

2. It should not, unless you have claimed points for arranged employment, and the PNP nomination you received, eg. BC mandates that if your employment changes, you inform BC and IRCC and it may impact your nomination. So check the provincial nomination rules.

3. No, you only have to inform IRCC if your country of residence changes, i.e. for the foreseeable future you plan to move to another country indefinitely and in that case your local visa office where you will have to submit your Passport will change but it has no impact on the processing as such.

4. If your PR application is approved, you have to be in Canada to receive a COPR. If you are not in Canada, you will have to inform IRCC and submit your document. Just getting a COPR does not make you a PR. If you are inland, then IRCC after confirming your residence in Canada (landing interview) or through the PR confirmation portal will send you a stamped and signed COPR. If you are not in Canada, then a COPR will be issued and when you land in Canada, your COPR is will stamped and effective that date your acquire a PR status. Unless you are an admitted PR, you cannot file for a PRTD.

5. IF your family composition changes as an effect of marriage / chid birth etc, you have to inform IRCC. Even if your application is approved and a cOPR issued, but you have not yet landed and admitted in Canada, you have to inform IRCC of the change of your family composition, and add your new family member, irrespective of whether they are accompanying or not.

6. Counterfoil is basically a visa, you need. So not sure what your current status and visa status is, and will depend on that.
