Pnp paper based application processing steps

Hello, i applied pr with pnp paper based application in july 2020 and the ircc just received my application and they sent me a letter for biometrics a day after they received my application, but wonder if this is usual. I haven’t done my medical exam yet. I am working as a nurse in canada and idk if this affects my application processing.

Here is what it says under details about my application status.
-eligibility: we are reviewing
-medical: we do not need. Will message if this changes
-additional documents: we do not need
-interview: do not need. Will message if this changes
-background check: processing
So far 32% completed.

Did you received the application no. AOR today? I applied on 14july didn’t received anything yet applied for Outland bc pnp paper based

Idk what AOR is but i got my application number. As I mentioned i am working in canada so it was inland application
