Hello,
I just received my AOR a few mins ago. I was checking my email and did not see anthing then a min later saw it popup!
I am soooo happy!!

Citizenship app sent - 25.10.2020
Citizenship package received - 29.10.2020
AOR received 27.01.2021

Received AOR for all the 4 of us

please help me
i applied for citizenship application on oct 28 and recieved nov 2 2020. waiting for AOR (soon any day)
my passport was valid and still valid untill june 2021.
but as i am waiting for canadian citizenship, do i need my valid passport latter during process? or expired one also will work.

As far as I know validity of your passport does not affect the processing of your citizenship application,, In fact I applied for citizenship with an expired passport.

Hi guys,
I see 2 lines on my ECAS, the second one saying they sent me the AOR on Jan 4th , while i still didn't receive anything..... What i should do? (cheers)

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 8, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 4, 2021.

Any advice ?

Any advice ?

Some people receive AOR via snail-mail (because of some recent glitch with the system). May be yours is in a long transit? Not sure but if you haven't received the AOR letter, just call IRCC and ask them for your application number, they'll be able to give it to you. Beings with a 'C'.

Normally, you'll have 21 days from the date of invite to complete the online citizenship test. But since you applied in October 2020, the online citizenship test wouldn't likely happen until the end of this year.

I'm happy for you. Mine was sent on Oct 26. Delivered on Oct. 27. Still haven't received AOR Nothing on ecase either

I called IRCC today to ask about my application which was sent Oct 25th, 2020 and received Oct 29th, 2020. The agent said they just started opening application received by January 2020 so call us in a few months?????????? to check about my application. Does that make any sense? I'm confused.

Its confusing, what were you exactly asking for? Application No? or processing time.

If you were asking about processing times then yes, they might be now working on sending test invites for Jan. 2020 applicants.
