Physical Presence miscalculation

I would like to know how to inform CIC about physical presence miscalculation after application has been sent for processing.

Will the application be returned if there is an entry missing? provided it doesn't change the no of days absence from Canada, it's just one entry into US that was somehow overlooked.

This is a tough spot because though your application might not be returned as incomplete (if you have checked all the boxes, haven't left any fields blank and submitted all the mandatory documents), this might become an issue when IRCC cross-references your record with the records from CBSA.

Raise this request ASAP, upload a letter and apologize for the mistake and provide the details of the missed trip.

Hopefully, they'll be able to add it to your file.

Thanks for your reply I haven't received AOR yet. So can I use the web form because I have read unless there is an AOR no request will be entertained. Is it so?

Well, yeah. Since your file is not yet on the GCMS system, there might not be a way for them to update your file.

I would recommend that you wait for AOR and then raise this request.
