Why is that a good thing? And thanks for all the info, I appreciate it.
Don't get upset. There is nothing you or anybody could do during SS stage. You just wait until it is complete. It took us over 7 months to complete. It is really case by case issue that you cannot compare timeline with other people. Patience is the virtue.

Hey there. I want to ask where do spousal applications usually get sent to? The PA's country of birth or where PA is currently residing? The thing is, my partner (from Bangladesh), is currently in Macau. He has been here since 2015. Would his app be sent to Hong Kong or Singapore VO?

I saw on the tracking tool that HK is processing applications quite fast though! Someone submitted their app back in Sept 2020 and already done their medicals just within these days. When did you submit yours and if you don't mind me asking where is your wife from? Are you currently residing in HK?

I saw it through the tracking tool here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LxDFjvZn-XR9uZpGbPTORYKQf0BMquSXNw0RvmqvZNU/edit?fbclid=IwAR1IEi474b3KKQEjBLGus6-Y7x3njT91adcY6WE68MPgqjNU6Er0Bu_Zfi4#gid=671729680
But it seems that your application is going quite smoothly! You applied in June and already finished your medicals.

Yah, but from what I hear the background check can take months and some only days. My understanding is once medical is finished if everything goes smooth next is pre arrival and it could be fast or lengthy.

I see. I guess it depends on the applicant's country and a lot of other factors. Good luck to you!
