I applied for September,2020 intake and got AIP. no update till now.
I have deferred to May,2021.and is it must to notify IRCC about my deferment as My acceptance letter which is with IRCC is valid also for May,2021.

Yes you should inform IRCC of any changes which includes deferral

Have you done medicals or you submitted upfront medicals? If you haven't done both, you have to be waiting for that precious medical request mail (if you didn't do upfront medicals) or medical update indicating medical passed ( if you did upfront medical) before you start talking of BVL and PPR because BVL without medicals is a bad sign.

Read abt guys who got medical request after bvl at naira land forum. Why do they send bvl and still hold on to the decision. Saw a case on gckey portal with action required as status and already sent bvl with no medicals. What is going on in Nairobi? I cannot just understand the trend again and modus operandi. Your view guys

My study permit was refused in December. got the gcms notes from expressgcms.com today. showed enough funds and sponsorship from father. travel history includes Dubai, China and UK. I work at a Bank and submitted reference letter, pay slips, bank statement. Still refused.

Bros so sorry to read this. Pls give it another shot and this time, be more explicit to show the VO your investment by studying in canada will add more value and that what you are spending in the investment will yield more by the time you return to work here. Demonstrate to the VO in your SOP that the course you intend to study is a "hot cake" with positive prospect when you return.
You can re-apply using same doc showing career progression but write a short and loaded SOP in this area mentioned.
It shall be well.

I guess most NSE guys(Nov applicant) who did not submit NSE requested doc and their deadline has expired got same generic bvl msg with no medical request 2dy. Some are in this situation 2 weeks or more now with no definite decision. It is really hard to understand. Guys who have gone through this should shed more light
