Online citizenship test completed, waiting for next steps

Thank you! Yes, you are correct. I didn’t get any request for extra documents. My only major concern is that I couldn’t get my picture of my PR card very sharp. My laptop webcam just couldn’t do it when I held the card close. It was legible, but just not really sharp. I would think that if it was a problem then they would have rescheduled another test and not went to decision made. I guess I’ll find out.

I did my online test today and passed. After I passed the test, there are two things that are freaking me out.
1. I used my PR card as my id proof for the picture and it was very tricky to get a clear picture. However my pr card has no signature and the instructions say that we need to use ID card with signature on it
Would that be a problem?
2. I did not open any new tabs once I started the exam. However there were two tabs opened previously.i.e one tab had the email to which the test link was sent and the other tab was the exam registration tab. Do you think this would be a problem?

Many had picture issue. Many used PR card.
Surely many would have used 2 tabs.
Just wait for oath email in few weeks.

I used my PR card and could not get a 100% clear picture of it. It was a little fuzzy and had a very slight reflection of the laptop screen in it. I did make sure you could read it, but it was definitely not very sharp. Also, I had the same issues with the tabs as you. When I opened my email to click the link that is sent after you login, it automatically opened another tab. I didn’t close either one.
It sounds like you had the same experience as me. So, I think you should be okay.

Hi everyone,

I thought I would make a thread for anyone who is in the same situation as me so that we can share/compare our experiences/next steps.

I received an invite on November 27, 2020 to take the online citizenship test between December 1, 2020 and December 21, 2020. I passed the test on December 3rd and am now waiting for what happens next. Please kindly let me know if you are in the same situation and if you have received any next steps toward an eventual oath ceremony.

Interesting, I did see an image of myself taking the test, it was in the bottom right corner...I remember glancing at myself there and freaking out and then did not move my eyes the whole time after.. haha. Also, I closed my tabs after collecting the link from the email.

I just hope my browser or antivirus did not actually block my camera and that grey box was just a glitch.
I took my test with a PC and Chrome browser.

I used Chrome as well and I wouldn't worry. @AshesNdust said the same thing happened and has an oath date already!

Yes, I had my camera on(white light) all the time and my image was in a small separate window on the right hand bottom if the screen until I was done writing the exam.

One caveat, I was using Safari. However, as I previously mentioned, I didn’t notice myself in a window. I guess there’s a small chance I just didn’t see it, but I think I would have noticed that.

I think you would see it in your peripherals.
