I just talked to an agent.

She said everything passed except security. Security has not even started.

My AOR is March 17th 2020.

Does anyone know what they check for security?

The one that I know they definitely check:
-Travel visit history(any anti-canada+allies countries)
-Visa rejections from US+Allies countries within 10 years due to security reasons, etc.
All of the above requires IRCC to get the report from CSIS/CIA/FBI/etc. Those will take time since they're also running on pandemic schedule.

you can get medicals done from anywhere, doesnt matter. Just take your passport along...

They are asking for a medical request form from cic which I have no clue about.

I asked my immigration representative. She said security used to be very fast, but recently it has been very slow

It is a third party like FBI or CIA who will do the security check, e.g. they will if you have done some really "bad" things...

How to define "bad"? I really don't know....

It is still fast for many candidates and has taken a few days to a couple of weeks based on what has been posted. All the officer has to do is open your file and request it from 3rd parties.

Upfront medical type: PR
Examinations: 501, 502, 707, 712

Mine says same! Type - PR while others say their medicals show type - worker
I’m worried
Please let me know if you medically were ok, as I’m in same case

However, I have not received AOR yet, is this normal?

yes... delays are the new normal just forget about then one day you will receive something in your mailbox hehe
Check my signature.. it took 1 month between the ita and the aor.

I got Email on Saturday Jan 23,2021 in my portal that my application got approved.
CEC Inland
AOR-March 03,
Biomatrics-Nov 04
Visa office-Ottawa


I hope everyone get there COPR soon who are waiting since Jan,feb,March.

Don't be worried about this - it's normal practice to see in your upfront PR medical results Type: WP.

My application was approved today but no attached CORP. My Aor is March 04. Just logged in and saw the update but no attachment. There is Corp number
