In Canada PR applicants with oversea Spouse

Hi, I submitted my PR application in Canada and then added my spouse as an accompanying dependent. My spouse got a passport request letter in April 2020 stating:

"To finalize your application, we require the following documents from your overseas dependent(s). Passports for dependent(s) should only be submitted after you, the primary applicant has received the confirmation of permanent residence status. As the primary applicant, you will be contacted separately by your local IRCC office in regard to your landing appointment."

However after that, I haven't heard any thing from IRCC. Is anyone in similar situation or has any idea about this? Any help would be appreciated!!

Did you get your own copr yet? If yes then I’ll advise that you reach out to your local visa office so they can work on finalizing your spouse application, if you’re to get your copr, I’m sorry you will have to keep waiting until you have your copr issued
