Don’t know about UK but people not living in Australia should forget about hoping for Australian PR from offshore. Not gonna happen.Try UK, Australia even harder than Canada.

My situation in 2015: Inland Australia, Au diploma, work exp : no chanceDon’t know about UK but people not living in Australia should forget about hoping for Australian PR from offshore. Not gonna happen.
I completed Masters in Australia. My graduate visa ran out so had to return to India last month and leave Australia behind.Haha Australia, in your dreams. Did everything possible while in australia since 3 years here, still no hope. Canada got ITA within 2 days of making profile so forget about Australia.
New Zealand is the best comparison to Canada. Online score system like EE, and my points matched similarly for NZ compared to Canada. Could get PR without a job offer there.Don’t know about UK but people not living in Australia should forget about hoping for Australian PR from offshore. Not gonna happen.
Feel for you mateMy situation in 2015: Inland Australia, Au diploma, work exp : no chance
Came back to my country for a few years, work and got master: try as outland Canada candidate: got ITA after a few months. Tbh, love Au weather but its not welcoming immigrants as Canada
Ya I feel you as well man, you will get ita for sure. Luckly I ran out of money back then, I was thinking of investing another 2 years for Bachelor in AustraliaFeel for you mate
Hope things work out for you in Canada
It’s Australia’s loss if they don’t care about hardworking immigrants.
Even before COVID, Australia had dropped the number of invites for 189, making the points cut-off go very high, regardless of the occupation. In Australia a lot depends on your occupation, if the occupation ceiling is high for your occupation then you've got a small chance.
But it's hard to compete with people who have studied and worked in Australia because they have a lot of additional points due to that.
However, the government is under pressure to reduce immigration because of overcrowding in the major cities and the lack of housing. They've also reduced the visa 189 quota to just 6,500, and are now taking people mainly on temporary visas.
Now is definitely not the time to immigrate to Australia.
According to an Australian friend that left Oz, they are indeed really racists towards non-white peopleAustralians must be racist with white-supremacy ideology, otherwise I cannot see any reason to stop immigration
I know people who left UK and immigrated to Canada. Immigrating to UK is even more difficult than Australia.Try UK, Australia even harder than Canada.
In any case Canada is a better option compared to Australia (my personal opinion). Australia has better Weather, housing costs are lower in Western Australia and may be healthcare system is a tad better than Canada. But Australia is way more cut off than rest of the world. Proximity to USA is a big advantage for Canada. Also, although finding jobs is tough in Canada, I still think there are more opportunities in Canada compared to Australia.Even before COVID, Australia had dropped the number of invites for 189, making the points cut-off go very high, regardless of the occupation.
post COVID they stopped it completely leaving lot of temporary residents (like me) in limbo.
I am really hoping score of 481 is enough to get thru to Canada and give life some stability.
