Congratulations brother! thank you for your response.
I Emailed IRCC and submitted IMM0006 alongside supporting documents they require. The problem is that I named the email "eTA - IMM0006E - application for authorization and statutory declaration ". Do you think it's not a big deal? or do I need to email them again and mention "request to travel - IMM0006"?
Hi,
This is the format of the letter I sent
SUBJECT: Application for Extended Family Member (My Name) Passport (My Passport Number) for authorization to travel
Full Name: My Name as it appears on my PP
Date Of Birth: My DOB
Passport Number: My PP number
Citizenship: My Citizenship
Current City and Country of Residence: City, Country of residence
Category of Request: The category in which I applied for exemption (in my case, it was as an Extended family member)
Reason for Travel: Write the honest story behind the reason why you want to travel. Indicate that you've got your PR and you are ready to go reunite with your brother who is waiting for you, add your timeline and maybe more motivation...
Dates of Travel: Indicate when you're intending to travel. No need to buy a ticket yet but just some potential dates.
Quarantine Plan: Indicate that you understand the strict measures taken by the government and you intend to self isolate in a hotel room or Airbnb and will be ordering food and other essentials via an app and have them delivered where you will be living.
Contents of Attachments: You need to attach a number of items to your email.
1. The signed and notarized IMM0006
2. A copy of your passport and a copy of your immigrant visa sticker
3. A copy of your COPR
4. A copy of your brother's passport, PR card or birth certificate
5. Some evidence of the two of you being brothers (photo of time spent together, anything showing that you're related)
That should do the trick. I am not sure what format you used when you sent the IMM0006 but should you get a negative reply, try again with this format. I don't think you should send it before getting a reply. You never know, just wait until you hear from them.
Good luck my friend! You're almost there!
