Hello All,

I am also a 2019 application for Permanent Resident under Family Class - Spouse (Applicant outside Canada) whose file has been sitting in the New Delhi Visa Office Since Dec 23, 2019.

Here is my application history timeline.

Timeline:

File submitted- Nov 4, 2019
AOR1 - Nov 21st
Bio - Dec 9, 2019
Medical Request- Dec 13, 2019
File transfer to NDVO - Dec 23, 2019
Status changed from Application received -> In progress - Oct 26,2020
Medical Request* - Jan 20, 2021
Pre-arrival letter - Jan 21, 2021

* I have submitted medical examination done for the Visitor Visa (on Jan 7, 2021) for the re-medical request received on the PR file.


I have applied a visitor visa for my wife which got approved and I am hoping to bring her here (Canada) once she receives her passport stamped with the visitor visa. I would like to know how long does it take for a Passport Request letter after receiving a pre-arrival letter? And once my wife is here in Canada and she receives a Passport request for her PR application, what are the steps for passport submission from within Canada and steps for the Permanent Resident Landing for Outland Application from within Canada?


Any help is greatly appreciated :).
