Ontario Graduate Certificate 1 year program
Or
Ontario College Diploma 2 years program

sorry man, I don' know which one has more credentials, but after learning 1 year program you can only get a work permit for 1year, however after finishing a 2-year program you can get a work permit for 3 years.

Some how I am not getting any reply on this. Just wanted to understand the difference between the two. Some says Diploma is much better. I was thinking graduate Certificate is post graduate program. Yes I know 1 year program get 1 year work permit and 2 years get 3 years work permit. But I just wanted to know the difference in programs. Anyways thank you

Ontario college diploma would have more rigorous study program comprising of more courses more than a certificate which might give you an edge while looking for a job.

Ontario College Diploma has high school as entry requirement while Ontario Graduate Certificate requires a post secondary diploma or a Bachelors which means graduate certificate is a pg program. Most Graduate Certificates in Ontario are of 1 year, 2-3 semesters with some exceptions of business courses of 2 years that are very rare.
