COPR this week?

i call them mostly monthly and its been 9months now waiting and its very depressing

Sorry to say this buddy but dont be over positive about IRCC processing...its good to see everything with positivity but the facts show that not worth when it comes to IRCC..honestly canadians doesnt trust when it comes to government related processing because of how outdated the system is not just for IRCC even the other stuff..
I mean u can see all their promises about priortizing based on AOR and then making calls for biometrics (again based on AOR) and im not sure about files being approved but no COPR amd recieving approval email but no portal login pr COPR processing details....most of the ppl in.the forum from jan-May and under CEC have straight foward applications but yet left behind and ppl from early jul-sep seeing their COPR's..

Agree to that. Reality hurts too much that got me tired of being too positive. I'm losing trust in the process.

What does it mean when they say We have started processing applications received the week of August 12, 2020

Does that mean all the prior applications sent on the previous weeks July end etc are ignored??? Omg...

Exactly what I'm thinking too. Doesn't sound a good news to me. They just leave behind prior applicants. ( I sound too negative, brought out by this frustrations )

They are not ignored. All applications when filed in a given month are processed, some are done quicker than others, then most are done within the average time and some take longer.

The announcement only depicts what batch has started. Not that the previous ones are ignored.

I second that. I AM A CEC SINGLE APPLICANT AND LESS THAN 2 WEEKS I WILL REACH MY 365 DAYS (1 YEAR). (Not yelling just want to let everyone know this fact).

Freaking nuts. Totally disappointed.

I totally agree and feel this pain too, which some of folks are facing for more than 8-9 months. But sincerely IRCC dont even care about if you approach thru your MP, they simply provide him the same reply but in detail and do nothing on file. Even I also wanted to ask people on this thread if anyone of us know any way to reach IRCC so that they take some action on our files instead of webform. This is pathetic that we are completely on mercy of IRCC and they are not accountable for anything. Just a big excuse COVID

join the club - nobody knows what that exactly means, but clearly your application has not been processed and will not be processed any time soon do not want to sound pessimistic - all the best to you! wish you to get your PR today! I hope I am wrong.

but in my gcms says final decision is approved and also in notes i seen that too...

Same here. Have that covid pace thing in my gcms, app approved but still, nothing's happening. I did try to raise a webform asking what that meant, but no reply. I guess it means wait, wait and wait..
