I applied for Spousal or in canada on April 14,2019
Medical requested-July 2019
Submitted fingerprints-September 2019
Requested medical for non accompanying child or notorised letter saying I cannot get child examined because I have no custody- Oct 2019
Eligibility approval-Oct 2019
File transferred to local office-March 2020
Now they have requested updated Family information, Background declaration form and past travel history forms.
Does anyone know why these forms are requested again as I have already provided everything in April 2019

Did you have any bad visa history? Like overstayed or visa refuse?

No ! Nothing like that.
My Dad’s visa once got denied, but I don’t think that matters.

I filed in my inland spousal application in May 2019 and I got the same reply last year October(2020). They requested for a new updated background declaration form, past travel history forms and my wife’s passport data page. I kept wondering why all these, but I sent everything they requested for after two weeks and here I am still waiting.

Nothing so far, yesterday my work permit was approved for another year because it was about to expire, but PR is not moving at all, got stucked 24 months in April that I am in process!!!

So sorry that you guys are still waiting, I was waiting just like you but once Hamilton office start working I got PR very fast. LaLondon I always think about you and pray that this journey will end soon.
