Visit visa help for mother from Bangladesh

Hi All. I'm living in Onatrio as a PR. I want to apply for my mother for visit visa. But there's a spelling mistake in my father's name in my passport. It's one letter difference than my mother's passport. ( mine: Broja, my mother: Braja) I can't go to Bangladesh now to do the affidavit. Besides, my father has passed away couple of years before. If I do notary will it be okay?

You should be applying for a new passport with the correct information.
