Colleges are empty nowadays due to COVID-19, they are desperate to get students. I'll be applying to Douglas, Conestoga, Lambton and Langara. Surely I'll be able to get accepted into at least one. Also, since I've already applied for Conestoga, if I get accepted can I secure my admission still and defer my intake to September? Or will I again have to apply for september and pay fees etc again?Colleges are empty nowadays due to COVID-19, they are desperate to get students. You're taking about graduate certificate course. Most Colleges offers diploma and advanced diplomas not pg diplomas. (it's graduate certificate actually) You've to understand that the credential alone have no values. Try to find a better program that will provide you with the good skills which will eventually contribute you in your job hunt. There are no problems in taking post sec diploma as a graduate. It's just a misconception. Diploma programs are meant for post sec students and graduates. Although you need to prepare a good SOP in order to avoid visa rejections. But that is applicable to every applicants. My main concern is visa rejection due to backlogs and completing a 3 year course in 4 years. Colleges usually accept 55% and above. Hope you are aware that the Canadian government is cracking down diploma mills in Quebec, soon it may become nation wide. It's always better to be admitted to a good school. In colleges, only Graduate certificate programs ask for degree grades. There are no distinguisions between colleges as premier and non premiere. It's just how they treat applications they received based on their requirements. The obvious distinctions between colleges are based on their quality of certain programs and student success rates.

Fraudulent institutions of higher education especially in the US/Canada which have no stringent entry requirements like GMAT, GRE & entrance tests etc. which grants admission to diplomas/degrees that are either fake or worthless. Most now are accredited and offer a course load so easy, or based on loosely defined "life experience", so as to render their education valueless. Mostly the ones who end up taking such courses end up jobless and do not live up to the hype. Anyone can gain admission into such diploma/degree mills of higher education.
Lambton and Douglas almost come under the mill league.

Undergraduate diplomas usually are refused outright by the VO. Level of study matters a lot for an approval. Anyone can take admission to such courses.
Statistics reveal that applying for an undergraduate diploma after high school/degree will most probably lead in to a refusal.
