hi all
So I applied 23 May 2019
AIP 2 dec 2020
Medical passed 16 dec 2020
Additional doc provided 17 dec 2020
GCMS notes came on 3 Jan 2021: eligibility, med, criminality passed, security- not started.

called ircc on Jan 10th - they told me we are waiting for an answer regarding security
Called them today - they told me we haven’t started security yet ‍‍:(
so either agents cannot provide an actual information, or I don’t understand the difference between “haven’t started” and “waiting for the answer” - which means for me that security has already started ‍‍:(
Don't take phone agent's answers seriously, usually they don't provide the actuall answer, GCMS more accurate

I have exact similar status and applied date as yours. Don’t worry at all, I didn’t hear in this form someone applied after May 10 and they started his security. Most May applicant passed eligibility and waiting security.
My point here is that someone wrote here before two or three months that he called them and they told him your security not started then after few days he got his DM. So relax and good news is around for sure...
I hope so :) good luck with yours
I saw that some May applicants have already received DM so hopefully we are next in line

Nah I ordered ircc gcms again, and cbsa too. Cbsa agent called me right away and told that they will release notes shortly since it’s not a complicated request. Hehe seems like cbsa is not busy at all compared to ircc
I wish everyone to receive their DMs these days

What is the cbsa request? And what is it for?

Totally agree with you, it is strange! I lived in Saudi Arabia and the Unites Stated and they never asked me for PCC from any of them!! What’s also stranger is that the only things they asked me for are my “Basis of Claim” and “RPD decision along with the reasons” which I have never heard anybody getting asked to provide.
They are not asking for PCC from Saudi Arabia because if you don't have legal status of Saudi arabia so Saudi arabia not providing you PCC and its clearly mentioned on CIC website, Canada and United States sharing database so that's the reason not asking for PCC.i think that's normal

ATIP from CBSA . Probably together with IRCC notes I will understand the overall picture of my file and will understand on which stage I am. But my application is not complicated at all - never been anywhere for 6 months or longer, no “bad history” and not from “concerning countries” (I don’t mean anything bad, I just know that from countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia etc the security screening can take longer time in some cases) I’m just tired of waiting - as everyone in this forum :(

https://www.canada.ca/en/security-intelligence-service/services/security-screening-for-immigration-and-citizenship-applications.html

IRCC, CBSA and CSIS conducts the security screening.
I’m not sure that cbsa notes will provide me or anybody else with the full understanding of security check status, but at least with their part. Anyway , my remaining waiting time has already become a boring routine, so happy to get from em’ at least something
By law it takes 30 days . But I was surprised when I received a CALL from CBSA 1 hours after I submitted a request. Woman was so kind and talkative, she told me it’s gonna take in my case couple of days, and she also asked me if I need something else from CBSA . Unfortunately, she told me that she cannot grant me a PR :)

I received my copr just now. No interview. Thanks to everyone on this forum. I'll see you all in the citizenship thread.
Congrats! Could you pls share your timeline? Did you receive any email notification to check your GCkey? Did you get portal invitation and from which local office process your COPR?
