I’m a permanent resident but rotate back and forward to work out with the country so don’t accumulate the three years required to apply for my citizenship. My wife became a Canadian citizen about 5 years ago. I was just talking to a colleague and he said I might qualify for citizenship due to this. Is this the case?

If you didn't meet the 1095 day requirement, how could u be eligible for citizenship? It's a common sense.

Best to check the official immigration site, and not some hearsay from a colleague. Well you found out now

@rajkamalmohanram - Last year when I submitted an application for my wife's sponsorship I wrote self-employment details to date however I only had worked for only one month. At that time I did attach a LOE stating that I only had income via self-employed one month but the corporation is still active.

Now I realize that I should have put in only one month because I never had any business after that one month, though the corporation is still active. What should I write in the employment history of citizenship application? Just one month or till date? Will it create any issue based on past application.

P.S. I was employed full-time in conjunction with that business at the same time.

Thanks.

Well, write one month and you could maybe clear this up with a LOE.

@rajkamalmohanram - Sponsorship application for my spouse is in process Got my Sponsor approved but I stayed for a short duration at my friend's place as it was easy to commute. I forgot to mention it. Is it a good idea to mention it now or stick to what has been sent?

I had a permanent address during this time where I was living the majority of the time.

IMO, if you had a permanent address at the time (where all your mail was being delivered, for example) and you were paying rent / mortgage (this was your primary residence) for this place and your friend's address doesn't appear on any of your documents, I think you should be good IMO. This is only my opinion.
