Same here. I am from Montreal. Received AOR on 17-NOV-2020, but no update after that. I am checking my application daily for an change in status. Fingers crossed!I wonder why only 1 or 2 applicants from Montreal have changed their status to "in process" hopefully there is no delay for Montreal. There are even people from July who already change their status to in process but not June- Montreal
FPs might be requested in some cases when, for example, there is a name / DOB match in some criminal database or persons of interest. Well, there is no concrete data but if you are asked for any type of additional documentation, application is considered non-routine. Or, it could be completely random as well (might be a random file pulled from the file for additional checks to ensure program integrity). I'm not saying there will be delays but don't be surprised if there are.Hi all - I got a request for fingerprints today (Jan 14). I guess this can happen but from the sheet I’m not seeing many people be requested for it. Does this mean anything like will my application go quicker/slower? Or just like random? Thanks!
