One quick question - How do we link our paper-based application with online portal? it is having only two options under citizenship and for both the options, I am seeing this message - "Paper applications for proof of citizenship and search of citizenship records cannot be linked at this time."

It's not possible to link a paper-based citizenship application at this time.

I sent my application on 1st Aug 2020, it was received on 7th Aug and returned today for missing a checkbox in section 16.

Can I tick the checkbox manually and send the package back or do I need to print the application form again?

PR card number obviously will not yield any results.

If your application is in the system, then entering your UCI in the correct format should bring it up. If it is a 8 digit UCI, then the format is XXXX-XXXX (include the hyphen).

Sometimes, the format might look like this : XX–XXXX–XXXX => If your UCI has more than 8 digits, use this format (include the hyphens)

Just to update you, entering UCI without the hyphen works as well. I used both ways and my status shows.

Hello, I have a Question, i sent application August 11 and received on the 13th of August and nothing at all was on ecas; I have received no email, However when i checked ECAS i see 1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 13, 2020. BUT I Did not receive any email?? What does that mean?? Also i noted the address on ECAS is not right (seems to be my address details from PR app) the application is sent has all the correct details What should i do??

Update - I can see my application now in the system. Also have the application number. But not yet received the AOR. Is there any delay in getting AOR?

Hey everyone, a quick question - I sent my application August 26th and received I think on August 29th ish. Nothing was on ECAS. I called IRCC today but they said they can't find my application in the system and one possibility is that it has been returned to me (I didn't receive any mail). I don't think I missed any info on the app. If the app was returned to me, do I get notified somehow and would they update it in the system?

How did you get the application number? I can see mine on Ecas. I called them today and the agent told me that they opened my app but no app number! I am confused
