Hi guys, would like your opinion whether I have the chance to be drawn on EE itself or if I could get nominated for Alberta. My details are as follows:

Submitted my profile - December 15, 2020
Age - 25 years old
Eligible for - Federal Skilled Worker
CRS score - 429
Education - 3 years Bachelor’s Degree (ECA by IQAS)
IELTS - CLB 9 - C1 Advanced (L8 R7 W7 S7)
NOC - I have experience in both NOC 5241 (Graphic Designer and Illustrators) and NOC 2175 (Web designers and developers) but in my EE Profile, I declared NOC 5241. Which do you guys think will give me more of an advantage?

I haven't received any update on my profile so I was wondering whether I did something wrong. Thank you for your help!

Your score is too low to be selected through EE directly. You need a score of around 470 to be selected through Express Entry directly.

In terms of the provinces, many are currently only looking at candidates already working and living in Canada, others are looking at specific NOCs, and other have cut offs that are currently higher than your score.

I would recommend you try to increase your score (e.g. re-write IELTS). Also, do some research on individual provinces to see which occupations are in demand in each.

Good luck.
