i just spoke to ethiad call centre on 18001231901 just now and i explained the whole COPR andAL situation and the guy there told me that we can book tickets and fly with an AL and expired COPR and it will be accepted. if anyone on the group wants to call and recheck so we can get different perspectives from different call centre guys it wud be helpful to all of us as we wud be able to book tickets cheaper than AI or AC.

i spoke to KLMand Delta and they said we cant fly, I also spoke to Emirates and although they wud accept the AL we cant fly because we cant transit through Dubai without quarentining there before flying onwards, so i guess no other options just AI and AC
My personal experience is that I got an email from IRCC to let them know if I am able to travel in next 60 days so that they could issue a AL to me. Guess what after exact 60 days I received an email stating that I need to redo the meds. After remeds I got the AL.
Things depends on case to case basis and you should be mentally prepared if they ask to redo the meds. Lots of people have got their medicals extended till 27th Feb 2021 and not sure if this just a move from IRCC to keep the application going or just to issue a short term AL.

I got a reply to all my webforms 4 of them (raised periodically within 30 days) all at once yesterday. My profile also looks a little different 1) the line of 'in case you have questions pls contact us through this' has been removed and 2) my biometrics also have been removed although it says biometrics passed on xx date in 2019. Does it mean that they are working on the file and i can expect some update soon? Anyone else saw something like this before receiving AL/COPR extension?
It depends on how well you have demonstrated your settlement plans in Canada wrt quarantine, stay and employment. These factors play an important role in issuing of AL. If you have a job offer then that would an asset but its not a compulsion if you demonstrated a good employment plan.

I really don't know what to do. How long should we wait again. Others are getting updates either on GC key account or by email. We r not getting anything.
Tried with another browser, still the same. I also noticed some change in the Application Status box. Previously, it was "Your application is taking us longer than usual to process".
Now, I don't see it.
