For those who applies for work permit after aip how long is your work permit valid?they gave me just 1 year.i thought they usually give 2

I've always had it for 1 year.
After AIP thank god it was renewed for 2 years

Me too i am scared of CBSA some they say they are going to detain you, hearing the word CBSA my anxiety is too the maximum have a 2 years old son so have to be with him all the time.

My visa was expired I overstayed in Canada

Yes I overstayed my visa, CBSA wanted to put me in detantion center but they changed their mind so the officer put me in reporting via email every month one time. I did call the cbsa after one month wanted to get my passport back they took it from me but CBSA refused to give it also they didn't give me departure order.

hi i recived a voluntary departure form after my extension application got refused...so maybe one day i will have the same problem with CBSA...can i know please why they arrested you ? and did you get before voluntary departure IMM 5021E or a departure order ? if you can't say that in the public you can send me a private message

I didn't got voluneertry departure, I need a AIP right now I don't have work permit and it's hard to find a cash job. Cbsa ask me are you working I said them I'm searching for cash job help me but they refused. I need a AIP right now please

No, of course I didn't mean to break your hope. Keep your faith strong if you applied all your documents complete all what you can do is to wait.

8 months is a good amount of time so you never know.
