From AR to AOR it takes 07 months?

Mean my AR is August 2020 then be ready for 6 to 7 months?

Yes because they shot down paper based application for 5 month due to covid19.

What will happen if I go on maternity leave during my application being in process? Let’s say I applied already and will received AOR before I officially start the leave..can this cause a rejection of my application? I’m planning to come back and work for the same employer after my 1 year leave.

take approval letter from employer about your leave...so your job remain continue....
or
direct ask to immigration about situation ..id you in Canada then call if not then use web form...

try to take written confirmation form immigration office or find what law says.....

No rules in world make negative effect when female goes on maternity leave as it is holly things....she will be mother....

Its depend on your application... you on wrok permit...or inland or out land and
they will consider experience and all till date you applied
so they not say to stop your progress...
you can start new job and for any change you can inform them through web form..take guidance from web form

2. Part-time job- it has ended on 31 December.
How can I update IRCC about the part time job that has ended?

If you already got AOR you can send another update employment history form in schedule A with current dates. If you haven’t got Aor yet just wait for

I know people that received the aor in a couple of weeks, i understand the covid but it's really ridiculous.
