as per www.cicnews.com it says if open work permit expired on or after jan 30 2020 or after OR if opem work permit is expiring in less than 4 months you can apply to restore status. applns open from jan 27 2021 to july 27 2021

But this is only for atudent ryt?
She has SOWP so can apply?

Yes she can submit new pgwp extension but I’m not pretty sure about that . Why don’t she apply for closed work permit? This way she can start working right away until decision is made on application.

But the thing is that her work permit already expired so bowp only possible if u have current work permit thays why she is confuse?
Someone told in this forum that bowp rejected bcoz cureent one already expired.
Soo its bit confusing.

You can still apply for new work permit. You will have to explain why you didnt apply for new one before old one expired. if your explanation is valid, they will approve.
If she lost job and couldnt get time for work experience to be eligible for Pr , you can apply as told by others.

it says for pgwp. I believe that if your primary applicant is eligible, the dependent can also apply the same. That's how it works. It has nothing to do if you were a student/not
