Passports to Accra Visa Office !

No i haven't received any counterfoil update, mine is PNP Alberta and i didn't receive any update or notification on my CIC profile when i was requested to submit my passport... I was contacted directly from accra office. Not sure whether i should expect a counterfoil update.

what do you think?

@saintu From different posts and people's experiences I understand you should get the "counterfoil update" about a month after vfs has acknowledged receiving your passport. I believe you should expect to get yours a month after vfs sent you the tracking details.

Then the passport comes back to you later.

I keep consoling myself that i've waited for this long, whats a few more weeks...

Same here. I was wondering if it was an error from my own end.

Got my counter foil update on December 23, 2020 and I’m waiting for my passport to be returned to me now. Such a long wait

This is absolutely outrageous. I just can't understand why passport should be kept at the embassy and not dispatched after stamping. People got other plans with passport.

Yes I called them few minutes ago .....same old story that it is still at the visa office in Ghana. I don’t know what they are doing with the passports

Apparently, a little hope as the agent said they are yet to receive passport for this week. I just tire

I pray those with outstanding matters with Accra will get it sorted in a timely manner and travel if and when they are ready. Nothing is stopping you now , well except you test positive with the virus.

I hope you have read the new instructions on CIC website confirming that if your application has been approved you can travel but only if you are certain that you are moving permanently and not for soft landing?

I seriously don’t know what is really happening with AVO. I submitted my passport on the 20th of November 2020 and it arrived VFS on the 23rd but no counterfoil update on my profile since then. I am thinking of emailing the VO to see what’s wrong or I should just chill? I used to think it’s a month’s timeline but I think I am wrong.
