Hi,
I am a student in college Canada which is in the list of caq suspension! I studied 1 year untill now and 1 year is still remained as my graduation date supposed to be in Jan2022.
My caq and study permit expires in june2021.
Immigration quebec told me that they cannot process my application. The college also told that they can not refund us. Nobody knows if the problem is going to be solved, or not... or even it affects our pgwp in future or no.
I am really stressed and I would like to know if it is better to wait and in case the problem was solved , I extend caq and continue with the same college?
Or it is better to change the college (even if the problem is solved).
Please reply my concern.
Thanks

If money is not a problem then I don't see any problem changing.
Chances are slim for this issue to get resolved on time since the government is investigating it seriously.

PGWP is a one time thing, are you willing to sacrifice time along with a diploma having a tarnished reputation which may or may not be eligible for PGWP in the future.
It's up to you to make the decision.

Or save some money along the line completing the course at the suspended college and again go for another 2 year diploma/master.

You will get PGWP based on the recent qualification.

You are right...
In fact, money is the problem , but pgwp is more important!
Do you think it's better to quit my program now (as I have valid caq till june) and start in a college which accept some of my courses and credits?
Do you work in canada visa office? As I look forward to have a meeting about this problem and get suggestion of some public colleges.

I called quebec immigration not IRCC, and asked if it's possible to extend my caq (As it expires in June), they told no and I should wait until the decision is made, or register in another college.
The reason is that they dont know the problem will be solved or not!

Thank god in upper message u have written ircc...i was full of fear...but dont worry me and my classmates are also going to have caq expire before study. No matter what happens they have to extend CAQ....There are thousands of students whom caq gonna expire...ministry have to extend caq of present students....They have no other option

Sorry I noticed it later and edited it lol.
Caq is issued by quebec, first we need this and then study permit.
But if the government is not satisfied, it may extend suspension! Nobody knows what will happen... that's why I am asking in this forum, to guide me what to do!

bro see whatever the decesion comes, candian goverenment have rules even if the dli cancel but students who are already enrolled have no effect on education.....If quebec immigaration will not extend caq then how thousands of students who presently enrolled will be able to complete education...who will be responsible...They will surely comes with policy as caq ban issue is considered in public interest

Neither is letting international students graduate with substandard education.
