Hi all - I'm just thinking ahead and was wondering if there is anyway to land in Canada after COPR if your application was approved after 18/03 and you are not living in the U.S. I have checked all the announcement and I don't see any way out besides waiting until the travel restrictions are lifted. So the FSW outland applicants who were approved lately, cannot land in Canada even permanently?

Aside from US residents and family of Canadians, no one who's received CoPR after 18th March 2020 can currently enter Canada. Those Covid-related travel restrictions are reevaluated on the 21st of each month. We all have to be patient and wait.

Hello
Congratulations ! Hope you are doing good. Did you directly get COPR or they asked sent you any email regarding PR confirmation Portal and asked your email id , date of entry into Canada and POE ???
or if I say in other words
Did you get COPR through the portal ?
Thank you !!
I applied through an attorney, he called me up. I think he got an email and later in an hour was updated on my CIC account. I was an inland applicant with Canadian experience.

I called them about 2 weeks ago and still stuck on recommended pass for eligibility. My application has not been touched sine Nov 6, 2020.

I applied for BOWP and it got extended until Dec, 2021. Not going to follow up, will just wait for the golden email.
Thank you for your answer. How do you know that your application hasn't been touched for that period of time? I hope you receive the golden email soon. I raised a web form but I can't call them since I am outside Canada. I've heard there are specific things you can ask to officers respecting your application, is that true? I've applied for residency so I am not quite sure if it is the same.

Yes, you can ask the IRCC call centre agent specific questions regarding if eligibility, criminality and security background check has been passed. I was told my application was the same status the last time I called and there has been no change since my eligibility was recommended passed in November.

Once the officer opens my file again things can move pretty fast.

Thank you for your answer @ZAtoCD, this is exactly what i have been reading and wanted some kind of confirmation.
So If understand correctly, if you receive your CoPR and visa, you have no choice but to wait and see when the travel restrictions will be lifted, if in the meantime your CoPR and visa are expired, you should wait for more instructions and updates from the IRCC?

That's correct. Below are the statements made by IRCC.
