This is regarding IMM 1344- Sposorship Evaluation form Part 1, Q1. We have selected "withdraw your application" option as opposed to "Continue with application for PR". Please share your experience/ suggestions or how will it affect if we do stick with option A. We are leaning towards that for now. Does this question ONLY apply towards the sponsor evaluation or for the entire application as a whole? We presumed just for the sponsor.

1. If you select withdraw, then that's it. The application is refused as well if the sponsor is not eligible.

Ok, how can the application then proceed successfully if the sponsor himself becomes ineligible? I presume at that point its a lost cause anyway and one would have to reapply or appeal (which is a whole another long process).

It makes no difference in a spousal application, if the sponsor isn't approved the app will not go ahead. I think it is meant for other types of applications. Many forms are used for mor than 1 type of app. Select yes, but it won't make any difference.

1. Actually it does make a difference, if you select proceed you maintain appeal rights, whereas if you select don't proceed, there are no appeal rights.
