I called IRCC today on 1-888-242-2100 (then followed 2-2-2-6-0 on keypad).

Good news is that I received an XEP number. Now I am relaxed that my application is in safe hands.

Thank you for sharing, I followed 1-3-0 today and they answered that all the agents are busy

My PR application was returned for giving digital signature instead of original. My question is when I reapply will it be considered as fresh application or reapplied one with faster response? Thanks in advance

They will consider previous AR date regardless now send old or new application..what is your AR date??

I called CIC today and spoke to customer service agent. He provided me the temporary number starting with XEP. Agent also told that officer has reviewed the file on 6th Jan, but has not updated any notes on it, so there is no file number assigned to it.
Please suggest when should I call again to get an update. At this point I do not know whether my file is complete or some additional documents

Today? You mean even Saturday you still can reach IRCC?
