I am on a study permit and applied extension for the same, I have an emergency too, my course is completely online so planning to do it from India. Can I get my study permit courried by relatives and can I get the stamping done from India?

The best thing for you would be, If your application is in process you can travel to India. You don’t need a Study Permit on Hand to apply for TRV. You can even apply on the basis of your study permit extension approval.
and If I want to come back to Canada can I get the new extended study permit at Toronto Airport?

If you get your study permit, tell someone to send it to you in India. In the meantime I think you should apply for the TRV, from outside of the country!
TRV (from Inside Canada )waiting time is almost 8 weeks, and even you get a passport call after 8 weeks it can take up to 3 weeks for the passport to be stamped, due to COVID!

I had sent a request for approval if we can submit our passport frm India. I've mailed abt this situation to IRCC via web form & email and also I have sent an email to CPC-Ottawa. Waiting for the response now.....Quick Update!
I talked to an CIC Agent this morning, she told me I can go to INDIA even my application is in process! And whenever I get a passport request from them, I will need to write a WEB FORM and tell them the situation and request them weather I can submit my passport in Indian Passport office!

Hi I was in same situation last year. I got my study permit approved and than I applied for TRV inside canada and got approved in 4days. I had to travel urgent and passport stamping in Ottawa would take like 3 weeks. Hence I traveled to India and submitted my passport for stamping on next morning I reached India. I got my passport stamped in india. You can submit passport stamping at any visa office. (Vfs). But in this covid cant say anything if vfs accept passport stamping or not. GoodluckHello,
I have a valid Work Permit & applied for my TRV (Inside Canada) application on December 21st, 2020. I have to travel to Mumbai (India) by February second week for my brother's wedding. It shows 53 days for the TRV application process.
If the application gets approved then passport stamping will take time & will be late by then, So is there any way I can get to Mumbai while the application in process & when/if approved get stamping in Mumbai (India)??
And what i need to do, contact IRCC or CPC-Ottawa regarding this?? And do I need any approval and if yes then from where IRCC, CPC, or Mumbai VFS?

Hi Rozeena, as soon as your visa is approved do you get an option of submitting passport to any visa office?
I got my visa approved and got passport submission letter after 24 hours of approval. Once TRV is approved and u get letter for passport submission you can travel and submit passport submission anywhere in vfs provided if visa offices are open in this covid time

Yes you can stamp outside canada, but travel once you get your approval or else you’ll stuck in india because processing time is approx 250 days there. You can confirm again by calling ircc , if you can stamp your passport in india. When did you applied your Trv?Hi Guys,
