I am a little confused with IMM5768 Financial Eval for PGP. Question 14 and Question 17. It want the employment history =. with employer name, address, phone no, in which I have no problem with. But the gross income / benefits for the period. and family size? I assume they want the gross income for working for that specific employer. I guess I have to look up the income tax forms and see the gross payment for that work period. I still don't understand the family size column next to gross income column.


Q1. . I can list my work history back to 2018 despite working 8 years with employer. Do I only list gross income for total 2018 and 2019 only? I don't know the total gross income for 2020. I can get an approximate gross income for 2020 and then do I add it to 2018 and 2019 income in the gross income?

Q2. How does this family size column work, next to gross income.

The guide does a poor job in explaining how to complete this form.

Any help would be appreciated.

So I don't know how they expect people to fill in their income for the portion in 2021. (for 2020, you may have an approximate income by summing up your pay stubs.)

You must submit your NOA and they will take the line 150 value to see your earning that year.

Yes.

You, the sponsor (and your co-signer, if you have one) must prove you have enough income to support all the people you’ll be financially responsible for once you become a sponsor. This includes yourself.

Last year we got invitation, but due to landing of my daughter in law they cancelled the invitation reason that income low. Still my son not get the invitation for 2020.

I think we all who are not selected from many years should file a petition saying that who so ever filled up form and qualify they should start accepting them and May can start processing their application may be according to time submitted or time dice in Canada . Whatever. Everyone of us has right to call and stay with our parents. Atleast if we are in line we can get number mat be in 1 year 2 years 5 years doesn’t matter. Atleast the torture of applying every time and picked up should end. I don’t mind if my parents are coming in 2 or 3 years. But I think I will be satisfied that I am in queen. Atleast like spousal application parents grandparents application should be open throughput the year. I f we collect 500 dollar per person and if we are even 1000 people we can get enough money to fight case against government. It’s our right and we should fight

Canada has an ageing population and a high immigration rate so it will be impossible for every person to sponsor their parents. Canada needs immigration to counteract our ageing demographic so allowing every immigrant to sponsor parents would defeat the purpose of immigration. Unfortunately parent sponsorship is not a right. Many countries do not allow parent sponsorship with access to healthcare because most of the parents will never pay taxes and the senior years are the most expensive when it comes to healthcare costs. When people immigrate they must consider that patent immigration may not be possible. Just being realistic. I do think that there should be weighting for repeat applicants but you will likely be waiting 5-10 years.
