It will be interesting to see mendicino's reaction on this.
Seems like MIFI is losing stronghold over it's own department, and IRCC don't want to take responsibility OR to put it differenly, MIFI thinks that if they hold their own department accountable for this mess, they could lose funding from IRCC, and IRCC don't wanna take any responsibility, because if they do, they might have to put more funds towards québec.
On the positive note, we could say that this political mess for power & money-grab could bring something good (monetarily) for us in the future. Just a matter of time i guess.
