Can Protected person go back home country?

I have a question here,I am protected person in Toronto and I already aplly my PR at 2019 but the government starting processing on January 2020
Can I go back my home country Indonesia with my condition like this?because I have emergency situation In indonesia?

You can only go back safely once you are a Canadian citizen.

If you go back to your home country any earlier, you'll be putting your protected person status / PR status at risk of being revoked.

Yes, correct. I have one friend of mine who lost his status just because he renewed his home country passport.

As a matter of fact you can go back... as long as IRB never finds it out. It's up to you to take the risk. They will automatically revoke your protected status if they receive information that you went back.

It is not an automatic process. You have to go to a hearing with IRB and go to the court if IRB decides to proceed with revoking your refugee status.

But yes, in general it is a dangerous thing to so if you wish to remain in Canada.
