hi everyone
I have a quick question

if I am doing my pcc from Canada and then going back to india for one week do I have to do my pcc again after I come back or can I use my 1st pcc
I don't think so. But wait for other people responses. Since, you only need to provide PCC for every country you have lived in for 180 days or more aggregated, since the time you turned 18, I think you can use the first one.

Since you have done this process successfully, an you answer my questions below please?

1. Do I have to include a return envelope or just put all the documents in an envelope, stick the label on it?
2. do I have to paste the photo on the application using glue or can I staple it to the application?
3. Do I have to sign the application in two places - one below photo (has a square but doesnt say sign), and the other at the end of the application?
4. What else needs to be signed? Checklist? Also for checklist do I have to "check" everything as well as in tick with pen or just sign?

1. Do I have to include a return envelope or just put all the documents in an envelope, stick the label on it?- No you only to need to put them in one. They should provide you with one. If you wanna expedite the process you can just go to the Purolator depot after u pay BLS the fee. you just need to print the label.
2. do I have to paste the photo on the application using glue or can I staple it to the application?- you dont need to paste it, just put it inside the Envelope
3. Do I have to sign the application in two places - one below photo (has a square but doesnt say sign), and the other at the end of the application?- Yes at both places.
4. What else needs to be signed? Checklist? Also for checklist do I have to "check" everything as well as in tick with pen or just sign?- It doesnt really matter but wouldnt hurt to tick and check.

I have a question from a friend looking to apply for a PCC. His father is in the armed forces and is posted in the frontline. While filling the PCC form, can verification be done at a relatives place instead? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello everyone!
I have a quick question, does the consulate reply to emails? I have sent two already in the last month and they haven't replied to any yet. I need their email approval to apply for my PCC from India. I lived there 12 years ago for 9 months. ( I was 22 )

They do reply promptly during business hours, include your application no. in email subject. Email: pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in (If applying to CGI Toronto). Hope this will help.

Hi @adwani1994 thank you for your consistent help on this thread. I have received reply from consulate saying that verification is pending at local police station. But police station is saying that they have cleared and sent it. Would you be able to speculate what's happening here and where should I look for it?

I think it's not the delay from local police's end, I think you should ask your parents/guardian to try and contact the Regional Passport office or you may wait till this weekend. Mine verification was done on Dec 21 and after exactly 2 weeks the update changed to "PCC Printed". But when I emailed them on Dec 31 they told me they received the "Clear Report" already so for me it was just matter of waiting. But if in your case they're saying they haven't received report I guess you should try to your Regional Passport Office. Because police usually send the report to RPO by mail in India via Indian Post and chances are high that it has been mishandled at RPO or at Post office so they can start inquiry on it and if the guys at RPO are proactive they will reach you with a positive reply or contact the local police for re-issuance.

Hi All,

Has any married individual here submitted a PCC Application (BLS Brampton) without your spouse's name on the Passport? If so, did your application get approved with just the marriage certificate, or, did you have to apply for a new passport (to add your spouse's name), and resubmit the PCC application?

Many thanks!
