Do you have confirmation that they have received the passport?

Fedex delivered mine but I called IRCC last week and the agent said they've not received it yet that it's probably delivered and they have not open it yet hence why no note on my file that I should wait for some days.

Anyone else in this situation?

wow. when was your passport delivered to Ottawa? Mine was signed off by someone, I searched the name indicate works for IRCC.

Delivered 21 December 2020.

Agent said Christmas and covid... so I'm thinking to check in with them on Wednesday again to confirm they have it.

Mine was signed by S.SYLVAIN and I also checked that this person was working at IRCC CPC Ottawa, my package got delivered on December 14th, since then no updates at all!

My suggestion is order a new set of notes. That's what I am planning to do end of this month. At least notes will show that they have received the passport and what is the recent update on the file...

I sent in my passport on Oct 26, 2020 after receiving 'Ready for Visa' email on Oct 19, 2020.My application has been on hold because I am not an inland applicant and hence they cannot finalize my application. I received a call from an officer who wanted to confirm if I am inside Canada or outside. He added a note on my application saying it cannot be finalized since I am outside Canada.

Is anybody else in the same boat as me and not able to get a COPR because they are Outland? My passports are also stuck at the CPC Ottawa office and nobody has gotten back to me with any updates. I have called up and talked to agents and nobody is able to give me any concrete answers.

Wow!! That's just horrendous!! If they are not going to finalize outland applicants like us then why did they send the PPR to us in the first place and accept our passports and now holding on to it tightly? This just makes me feel sick and like throwing up!! I will also check with them and update here what they say. I am also going to order my 5th set of GCMS, unfortunately this just looks like a never ending story! :-(

My passport was delivered on Dec 7th and so far there has been zero update. It is okay to ask for passport, but it is not okay to give me a deadline but they just sit on it without even telling me if they received the passport. I emailed them yesterday I hope I will receive a response soon, but all of these really damaged the image of Canada for me.
