Mine has been in "we are processing your background check............." right from the moment of my AOR on 4th Oct, I do check my account every day and never saw it change. However I called an IRCC agent on the 31st Dec 2020, I was told eligibility passed, criminality passed, security in process, the agent went further to say that he doesn't know how long it's going to take to be in process, but security could take from 1 week to several months.

So I don't think all applications would have those changes on background check reflected on their accounts.

Security usually takes an average of 110 days.

What are they checking. It's data analyst.

It is not data analyst sitting and getting the security done. It is way more complex than that.

It's weird being in the state of uncertainty. I am tracking MyImmigration tracker as well. Majority FSW - O candidates did not get the PPR from 250+ Days so possibility of something happening in next couple of months is unlikely. Agent's are also not providing any extra information during the call.

From what I observed on myimmitracker, there seems to be two teams of officers working side-by-side: one for cases above 6 months and another for under 6 months.

I know CEC inland approved within 40 days since AOR.

Not really I am inland and I know lot of folks who's file has not moved apart from MES till now, not just NOC s/w engineers other streams as well, since they got their old Biometrics popped up in the system.

BTW, when exactly it moves to VO Ottawa or VO Sydney, what is the key consideration? Mine is sitting in Sydney, NS and nothing has changed AOR Oct 17

Is anyone here visa office is Sydney NS ? Is this office normally slow? I haven't received any updated yet since 7th Oct. Talked to an agent yesterday again, nothing started yet except Criminality is in progress.

How did you know your file reached VO, Sydney. Mine is also out there. Not sure post what stage it goes to VO, I guess it is after R10. I also do not have any update on my case so far.Looks like they are pretty slow

what is the current status of your application

I did receive request for RCMP finger prints so I guess it must be criminality. I did submitted back in Nov, but nothing changed in CIC website so far including changes in ADR. Ideally they should have reviewed the document and status should have changed. Mine must be still in criminality
